Exploring the different ways we look at a landscape over a period of time, and how this interacts with the phenomenology of the landscape photograph.

Each component is photographed individually, and as such is subject to optical distortions that are only corrected when the image is viewed from a certain distance. This distance is the same for all the component images, but only corresponds to the distance one would naturally choose, the so-called ‘viewing distance’, for the central quartet.

Each installation is approximately 2.5m wide.
